A family day out at the lodge
The kids had a blast playing mini golf while we enjoyed a peaceful dinner. The restaurant staff were friendly.
Unfortunately, our unit wasn't well-maintained, with a ceiling fan that didn't work and a lack of backup power for air conditioning during load shedding. It really affected our stay.

Incredibly beautiful hotel, well laid out rooms, pleasant view of the sunset. A fridge, a dining area, and a sitting area in the room and the exceptionally comfortable bed. Pleasant staff, marvellous location close enough...

The whole room was well-organised and lovely sized and had a safe box, a seating area, and ironing facilities. The view of the sunset it had was magnificent.

Tried it so you don't have to!
The wildlife sightings right outside were very nice! Our chalet was clean, with satisfying privacy during our family stay. The soothing sounds of the river.
The breakfast service was prompt, but the staff's arrogance was disappointing. As a family-oriented place, this is definitely not what you'd expect.

the hotel's location was stunning, short walk to phabeni gate kruger national park, the kruger park lodge, and easy grocery shopping. apart from that, sabie river was 20 minutes' drive away.

would definitely come back here
We stayed for 2 nights in a three-bedroom chalet. The unit was clean with a nice kitchen, private bathroom, and a cozy seating area. Loved the sounds of the river nearby. Daily cleaning was a big plus. Plus, the outdoor swimming pool and spa facilities were a nice touch. Game drives to the park were easy to organize.

Staying by the river was amazing and the lodge's warmth. Just had a bit of trouble with the lights during load shedding, wish they provided better lighting options 🍃

Great kids' area and pools, but check-in took longer than expected.

missingWrote a review on 31 Julmaintenance issues
We encountered issues with water damage in two of the rooms during a rainstorm, leading to a wet carpet and a lingering unpleasant smell, made the environment less pleasant. The kitchen setup could use improvement since the dishwasher did not fit properly under the counter and there were noticeable maintenance concerns, like a mouse hole in the plinth.

would definitely recommend for a quick layover
Comfortable chalet, excellent service, with the air conditioning working perfectly and the outdoor swimming pool being a refreshing option for relaxation.
Parking is available but finding a spot can be a bit challenging during busy hours.
